Taking Orders for 2024
We are looking forward to the 2024 beef season! Beef is available from May through October. We have 3 – 5 beef available each month and sell out quickly – contact us today if you are looking for beef this year.
Last year, our beef was priced at $2.80 per pound dressed weight, which is the carcass weight measured before bone and other byproducts are discarded. About half this weight will be edible beef. The total cost of an order depends on the processing fee, the size of the animal, and the amount of beef purchased. Price is usually around $6.80 per pound of beef the customer takes home.
You can choose the cuts you would like! A typical order is 50% hamburger and 50% other cuts of meat, but the locker can package your meat specially, create custom sausage and beef sticks, include bones and organs in your order, and more.
